BIO

Born and raised in San Francisco, I was in high school during the civil unrest of the '60s, made my way to Los Angeles in '73 and stayed. After landing a job as an art director at an advertising agency, I started a graphic design boutique specializing in movie art. Still actively working, yet finding time to paint, I am truly fortunate to be a part of both creative worlds.

STATEMENT

Currently, my body of work is representational in varying degrees of detail. I enjoy depicting the beauty in things I see around me and also the challenge of capturing the likenesses of some icons of pop culture, particularly my favorite jazz musicians. I look forward to all the possibilities as my art evolves.
